"The 25th annual California Coastal Cleanup Day is Saturday and volunteers are invited to lend a hand picking up debris at the state's beaches and inland shorelines.
Scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at more than 750 locations, including at least 70 sites in Los Angeles County, this is California's largest volunteer event.
Volunteers can pre-register with a local coordinator or simply show up at any of the drop-in sites."
