"A weekend bath in a river proved fatal to one of six youths who accidentally came in contact with a jellyfish in Negros Occidental, a radio report said Monday.
Radio dzXL reported the six minors were bathing in a river at Sitio Luyang in Giljungan village in Cauayan town at noon Saturday when the incident occurred.
Village chief Lito Gilbosa said the six complained of burning sensation on the skin after getting in contact with the "salabay," a toxic type of jellyfish."
