Shark gets out-of-water surgery

"Surgery has been performed on a shark at a Dorset sea life center - in what is thought to be the first such procedure out of water.

Florence, a 6ft (1.8m) nurse shark, was taken ill at Weymouth Sea Life Park.

She was anesthetized while still in her tank, then lifted on to an
operating table. Sea water was pumped across her gills to keep her
breathing."
