With the dust still settling after the Huntington Beach stampede several pros have already fled Southern California for Tahiti, where the Billabong Pro at Teahupoo is set to begin in just over a week.
There's more than ever on the line this year with the ASP's huge blade coming to excise 13 surfers from the invitee list of the next event in Europe. The list of potential victims is filled with stars, many of whom will be sent back to the minor leagues where they'll be spending the rest of the year trying to thread the end of season needle.
We'll address the endangered ones later. For now, let's just get in the mood Teahupoo...
